The Renewable Energy Directive (RED)
The Renewable Energy Directive establishes an overall policy for the production and promotion of energy from renewable sources in the EU. It requires the EU to fulfil at least 20% of its total energy needs with renewables by 2020 – to be achieved through the attainment of individual national targets. All EU countries must also ensure that at least 10% of their transport fuels come from renewable sources by 2020.
This certification shows that Fry Fresh Edible Oils comply with the criteria set out through recognised nation systems.
ISO 9001 Quality Management
The ISO 9001 quality assurance scheme is the worlds most recognised standard of quality assurance and was awarded to Fry Fresh in 2016. The ISO 9001 regulates quality not only with our products, but as an internal management structure that ensures quality within our company processes. This set method of internal management ensures that we are quality driven and helps to ensure a customer focussed approach.
Food Standards Agency – Food hygiene rating.
The food hygiene rating or inspection result given to a business reflects the standards of food hygiene found on the date of inspection or visit by the local authority. The food hygiene rating is not a guide to food quality. With a score of 5 out of 5, Fry Fresh Edible Oils has achieved the highest score. This along with the ISO 9001 ensures that our in house procedures will continue to maintain this level of quality.
